Erratic Behavior of the White House may turn the oil disaster into Obama’s Katrina

The White House seemed to be busy with the immigration, education, financial reform and mostly political campaigning these days. The messages concerning the massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico seemed to instill confidence that things are under control. We were led to believe that the oil spill was mostly a problem of the British Petroleum.

Really? If a spot can be seen from the space it is likely the spot is important enough for the National Security to be paying significant attention. The erratic info coming from the White House made people confused – as the time progressed we learned the oil spot is five times bigger than expected. They told us the disaster is coming faster just when it is about to impact the Louisiana cost. The Governor of the State finally issued an emergency and the BP finally asked for help from the Department of Defense. What took Bobby Jindal so long to call the National Guard? Common! Every person in the world saw the satellite images.

Remind you of something: disaster hitting Louisiana, military called too late – observing while the losers in charge cannot give a decent estimate of the problem for days, The White House waffling on the issue being afraid of midterm elections? Such erratic behavior brings a Katrina déjà vu.

It is past the time when the people involved have to start talking straight and coordinate faster. How many disasters have to hit Louisiana so the USA government can respond correctly? If there is something visible from the Moon heading to Louisiana you call the Department of Defense not on day three, but on day one? We can always bill the BP later, but letting them to wander around the Gulf in disarray for days is just not acceptable.

Our useless Department of Energy has 5.5 billion dollars budget for military environmental cleanup and 225 millions for non-military environmental cleanup. If we don’t use it for emergency cleaning of the oil spill that is about to destroy Louisiana cost and economy – what are we using those money for? How about clean up the spill and present the tab to the BP after that?

After Katrina we had to answer the question about the Local and the Federal Government response. Apparently nobody took notes.

Tomorrow when the pictures of the Louisiana beaches and the animals occupying them covered in sticky, ugly, stinky and suffocating oil start flooding the World Wide Net – where will President Obama be?

- In the rose garden?

- Interviewing Supreme Court candidates?

- Giving campaign speech somewhere?

- On a plane or copter circling over the zone of the environmental disaster?

It really doesn’t matter as long as President Obama and his team have a plan. Let’s pray he does!

It is also time to give us a peek of what really happened on that rig. What did the hundreds that escaped the blow shared with the officials? Why are we sending “SWAT teams” to inspect the other rigs? The wording makes the messages from the White House even spookier and the conspiracy theories are already floating faster than the oil spot moving towards Louisiana.

US Orders Blackout Over North Korean Torpedoing Of Gulf Of Mexico Oil Rig
By: Sorcha Faal, and as reported to her Western Subscribers grim report circulating in the Kremlin today written by Russia… See More’s Northern Fleet is reporting that the United States has ordered a complete media blackout over North Korea’s torpedoing of the giant Deepwater Horizon oil platform owned by the World’s largest offshore drilling contractor Transocean that was built and financed by South Korea’s Hyundai Heavy Industries Co. Ltd., that has caused great loss of life, untold billions in economic damage to the South Korean economy, and an environmental catastrophe to the United States.
Most important to understand about this latest attack by North Korea against its South Korean enemy is that under the existing “laws of war” it was a permissible action as they remain in a state of war against each other due to South Korea’s refusal to sign the 1953 Armistice ending the Korean War.
To the attack itself, these reports continue, the North Korean “cargo vessel” Dai Hong Dan believed to be staffed by 17th Sniper Corps “suicide” troops left Cuba’s Empresa Terminales Mambisas de La Habana (Port of Havana) on April 18th whereupon it “severely deviated” from its intended course for Venezuela’s Puerto Cabello bringing it to within 209 kilometers (130 miles) of the Deepwater Horizon oil platform which was located 80 kilometers (50 miles) off the coast of the US State of Louisiana where it launched an SSC Sang-o Class Mini Submarine (Yugo class) estimated to have an operational range of 321 kilometers (200 miles).
On the night of April 20th the North Korean Mini Submarine manned by these “suicidal” 17th Sniper Corps soldiers attacked the Deepwater Horizon with what are believed to be 2 incendiary torpedoes causing a massive explosion and resulting in 11 workers on this giant oil rig being killed outright. Barely 48 hours later, on April 22nd , this North Korean Mini Submarine committed its final atrocity by exploding itself directly beneath the Deepwater Horizon causing this $1 Billion oil rig to sink beneath the seas and marking 2010’s celebration of Earth Day with one of the largest environmental catastrophes our World has ever seen.
To the reason for North Korea attacking the Deepwater Horizon, these reports say, was to present US President Obama with an “impossible dilemma” prior to the opening of the United Nations Review Conference of the Parties to the Treat on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) set to begin May 3rd in New York.
This “impossible dilemma” facing Obama is indeed real as the decision he is faced with is either to allow the continuation of this massive oil leak catastrophe to continue for months, or immediately stop it by the only known and proven means possible, the detonation of a thermonuclear device.
Russian Navy atomic experts in these reports state that should Obama choose the “nuclear option” the most viable weapon at his disposal is the United States B83 (Mk-83) strategic thermonuclear bomb having a variable yield (Low Kiloton Range to 1,200 Kilotons) which with its 12 foot length and 18 inch diameter, and weighing just over 2,400 pounds, is readily able to be deployed and detonated by a remote controlled mini-sub.
Should Obama choose the “nuclear option” it appears that he would be supported by the International Court of Justice who on July 8, 1996 issued an advisory opinion on the use of nuclear weapons stating that they could not conclude definitively on these weapons use in “extreme circumstances” or “self defense”.
On the other hand, if Obama chooses the “nuclear option” it would leave the UN’s nuclear conference in shambles with every Nation in the World having oil rigs off their coasts demanding an equal right to atomic weapons to protect their environment from catastrophes too, including Iran.
To whatever decision Obama makes it remains a fact that with each passing hour this environmental catastrophe grows worse. And even though Obama has ordered military SWAT teams to protect other oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico from any further attack, and further ordered that all drilling in the Gulf of Mexico be immediately stopped, this massive oil spill has already reached the shores of America and with high waves and more bad weather forecast the likelihood of it being stopped from destroying thousands of miles of US coastland and wildlife appears unstoppable.
And not just to the environmental catastrophe that is unfolding the only devastation to be wrecked upon the United States and South Korea by this North Korean attack as the economic liabilities associated with this disaster are estimated by these Russian reports to be between $500 Billion to $1.5 Trillion, and which only a declaration of this disaster being an “act of war” would free some the World’s largest corporations from bankruptcy.
Important to note too in all of these events was that this was the second attack by North Korea on its South Korean enemy, and US ally, in a month as we had reported on in our March 28th report titled “Obama Orders ‘Immediate Stand-down’ After Deadly North Korean Attack” and which to date neither the Americans or South Korea have retaliated for and giving one senior North Korean party leader the courage to openly state that the North Korean military took “gratifying revenge” on South Korea.
And for those believing that things couldn’t get worse, they couldn’t be more mistaken as new reports coming from Japanese military sources are stating that North Korea is preparing for new launches of its 1,300 kilometer (807 miles) intermediate range ballistic “Rodong” missile which Russian Space Forces experts state is able to “deploy and detonate” an atomic electromagnetic pulse (EMP) device, and which if detonated high in the atmosphere could effectively destroy the American economy for years, if not decades, to come.

  • BobW:

Why, repeat, why haven’t the survivors of the Oil Platform been interviewed? There must be some answers there. Also, I’ve read that this rig was an experimental rig and had it’s problems from the beginning. Cover up???

  • azdiane:

Homeland Security should have gotten involved immediately. When Janet was governor of Arizona, we had a pipeline leak that she ignored for days before doing anything about it. Gas prices went through the roof, stations were running out of gas and people were actually following the delivery trucks to be the first in line for gas. It was a disaster. This all sound all too familiar.

  • gwenthoughts:

Here is my question: Does BP want to “temporarily” stop the flow of oil from this well so it can reopen it at a later date? Is that why certain options are off the table? I think that it is time for the President to hold a meeting ASAP of oil engineers with successful wells in the ocean, like Conoco_Phillips on the Norwegian sea, and ask them what they think should be done. I’ll bet if we put a penalty on BP for each day that well is not contained, say $100 billion , they would come up with a solution much quicker!

I bet they could drop tons of gravel, sand, etc down a new pipeline and on top of this oil pipeline and at least slow the flow! Maybe, even create a small explosion in the area to create a rockslide to cover the pipe. These two together might work! It is time for Pres. Obama to issue a direct threat with a cash price on it! Also, if BP wants to drill anywhere else or replace this well on our coast, they need to treat this seriously NOW!

  • gwenthoughts:

I just read the post above on possible terrorist activity. If this is true , then why hasn’t the threat level been raised ? I would hope that the president would choose less catestrophic weaponry to close this leak! I am sure there are other options, regardless of what caused it! He needs to trust the American people with the truth!

  • you are all lying truther nutjobs:

    For detailed and accurate information:

Brief description of our governments response:

The response to the BP Oil Spill began as an emergency search and rescue mission by the U.S. Coast Guard and other partners on April 20.

Concurrently, command center operations were stood up immediately in the Gulf Coast to begin also addressing the environmental impact of the incident.

The morning after the explosion, Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar deployed Deputy Secretary David J. Hayes down to the gulf to assist with coordination and response to the incident.

The Administration immediately began holding regular calls with BP leadership and numerous senior-level meetings have been held between the administration and BP to discuss BP’s response effort and federal oversight and support.

The National Response Team (NRT), an organization of 16 federal departments and agencies responsible for coordinating emergency preparedness and response to oil and hazardous substance pollution incidents was quickly activated and a coordinated group of federal partners-including the United States Coast Guard, Departments of Homeland Security, Commerce, Interior and the Environmental Protection Agency-immediately began directing and overseeing BP’s response.

  • EPA overseeing? What can possibly go wrong.

  • foxnewssucks:

    1. Dept of Homeland Security- Most worthless waste of money ever, STARTED BY BUSH!!!

    2. Reduced regulations regarding drill platform safety– again BUSH!!

    3. FEMA killer Michael Brown condemning and accusing the Obama Admin– There was a good reason this man was fired, he has no business opening his mouth. Was nice to see CNN question this idiot on what he said on FOX only to have him switch gears because he wasnt protected by the RNN (republican news network) or as y’all call it Fox News.

So as Fox would find a way to blame Obama, id say there must be some way to blame Bush. Ive listed 2 of them

  • Nathan Lee:

the oil spill in Mexico would surely be one of the greatest environmental disasters for this year.’*~

  • Felix Leitner:

One of the biggest problems with oil is the damage which it can produce on the nature. A lot of animals will die because it isnt possible to stop the spread to 100 %. So I Hope that the security will be better in the future.
